Sheila Belanger, M.A.

Sheila is an inspiring astrologer, Soulcraft™ and vision quest guide and shamanic practitioner. She holds a Master's Degree in Transpersonal Psychology and carries a deep commitment to the integration of astrology, shamanism, and soul-based development. She co-facilitates life-affirming Soulcraft™ programs, retreats and vision quests. Her presentations are guided by humor, heart, and deep reverence for our shared interconnectedness.

Astrology: Sheila has been a professional counseling astrologer since 1984. Several key streams influence her astrology work: evolutionary and mythic astrology; depth psychology; and the profound life stories of thousands of astrology clients. Sheila views the birth chart of an individual as a map of the soul’s gifts, challenges and paths of evolution. Sheila specializes in the astrology of midlife and its attendant spiritual rites of passage.  

Shamanism: Sheila has facilitated ceremonial circles since 1987, has guided wilderness vision quests since 1987 and has been a shamanic practitioner since 1993. She is a graduate of Sandra Ingerman’s Two-Year Shamanic Teachers’ Training program and has trained with the Foundation for Shamanic Studies and cross cultural anthropologist Angeles Arrien. Her core shamanic teachers are the wild ones of Nature and the compassionate helping spirits.

Soulcraft™: Sheila is currently completing the Soulcraft™ Apprenticeship and Initiation Program (SAIP) with the Animas Valley Institute. She is a passionate carrier and guide of Soulcraft™ processes as contemporary, nature-based paths to soul encounter and soul initiation.
