Midlife is a journey of reclamation.  As a child and young adult, a woman creates identities that enable her to survive and to fit into family and culture. The midlife passage (between the mid 30's and the early 60's) calls her to release versions of self that she has outgrown and to reclaim her authentic self. Come gather with other women to explore, honor and celebrate this tumultuous and potent life phase.
 
This experiential retreat includes the wisdom of astrological midlife cycles; solo time in nature; creative processes; ceremonial circle; Deep Imagery journeys; Soulcraft™ practices (www.animas.org); a purification sauna; a Labyrinth meditation and drumming and dancing. No previous background in astrology required. The retreat begins at 5 pm on Thursday and ends at 4 pm on Sunday. 
 
Located one hour north of Seattle, the Whidbey Institute at Chinook retreat site is situated on 70 beautiful and secluded acres of evergreen forest and meadow lands on Whidbey Island.
