Advanced Shamanic TrainingsSPIRIT WEAVERS SHAMANIC PRACTITIONERS PROGRAM Spirit Weavers IDuring Autumn 2007 to Summer 2009, Sheila is on sabbatical from the Spirit Weavers I program. Check this website in late 2008 for program dates for 2009-2010. Modern shamanism addresses the contemporary longings and dreams of urban Western people to reconnect to nature and community and to a vital, creative life. A shamanic practitioner can enter at will into non-ordinary states of consciousness to access wisdom, guidance, and healing for self and others. She works in partnership with helping spirits and guides to restore balance and union. In three seasons, you gather for a 3 1/2-day retreat on Whidbey Island followed by six evening circles in Seattle. At a retreat, you learn and explore the core shamanic principles and healing techniques of that season. At the Seattle evening circles, you practice the techniques with other students and with clients. In the summer season, you complete the program with an 8-day wilderness vision quest in Eastern Washington. Each Whidbey Island retreat begins on Thursdays at 5 pm and ends on Sundays at 4 pm. Seattle evening circles are from 6:30-10:00 pm. Enrollment is by application. Sliding scale fee: $2450-$2650. A non-refundable deposit of $450 will hold your space. Fee includes tuition, use of retreat and classroom site, retreat lodging and most meals. A sliding scale fee of $222-$245 is due at the first of each month until balance is paid. No reduced fee for off-site lodging. Cost of program is fixed regardless of how many retreats/circles you attend. Prerequisite: Weavers in the Web introductory class or retreat. All classes are taught by Sheila Belanger, M.A. >>> SPIRIT WEAVERS II (SECOND YEAR PROGRAM)
